What Facebook Data Means

If you use Facebook Login with Merwing, Facebook may share limited account information with us, depending on the permissions you approve. This can include your name, email address, profile photo, and a Facebook app-scoped user ID.

Merwing does not receive or store your Facebook password.

Remove Merwing from Facebook

You can disconnect Merwing from your Facebook account in Facebook settings:

1. Log in to Facebook.
2. Open Settings & privacy, then Settings.
3. Open Apps and websites.
4. Find Merwing in the list of connected apps.
5. Select Remove to disconnect Merwing from your Facebook account.

Request Deletion from Merwing

To delete Facebook Login data held by Merwing, email us from the email address associated with your Merwing account.

Please include:

• Your full name.
• The email address used for Merwing or Facebook Login.
• Any Merwing phone number, business name, or account detail that helps us identify your account.

Do not send your Facebook password, access token, payment card number, or other sensitive credentials.

What We Delete

After we verify your request, we will delete or anonymize Facebook Login data associated with your Merwing account, such as:

• Facebook app-scoped user IDs.
• Facebook-provided profile information, such as name, email address, or profile photo, where stored by Merwing.
• Facebook access tokens or connection records, if any are stored.

If you ask us to delete your full Merwing account, we will also process that request subject to our legal, security, billing, dispute-resolution, and operational retention obligations.

Timing and Confirmation

We will confirm receipt of your request by email and may ask for information needed to verify your identity. We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.

When the request is complete, we will send confirmation to the email address used for the request.
